Before establishing RICH IMAGE in 1990, Rich Rumppe spent more than a decade as an award-winning television news videographer and editor, covering stories in the Twin Cities, the Upper Midwest, and around the world. Today, RICH IMAGE offers professional, get-it-done, network quality experience behind the camera.

Rich shot his first 16mm film at a television station nearly 30 years ago. He was there for the switch to three-quarter inch video, time code editing systems and microwave live shots. The next generation brought Betacams and satellite newsgathering.

The tools have evolved again. Today’s digital gear weighs less and delivers more. High definition can create breathtaking picture quality.

So far, the geniuses still haven’t been able to create a camera that can do it all. It still takes a human eye. And that’s where experience counts.

Rich has traveled the world shooting and producing professional video that has informed, publicized, revealed, promoted, trained, and communicated with audiences from large to small, made up of corporate employees and broadcast customers.

Today we’ve transitioned from lavish productions requiring expensive specialized equipment to projects with smaller budgets and a need for faster service. While we still have access to traditional video equipment, we have also invested in the new wave of the latest High Definition tools, including HDSLR’s and still cameras that produce eye-popping video with the look of traditional film cameras. We seem to have come full circle from the film days.

Using state-of-the-art equipment, Rich Image is available for assignments to cover whatever is crashing and/or burning on the news side. We bring years of experience covering sports, shooting network interviews and manning satellite live shots for broadcast and corporate videos as well.

Available to broadcast clients on a half-day, full day or multi-day rate.

Trust RICH IMAGE to deliver when you’ve got one shot to get the shot!
